About

We don't carry parcels. We bring together the people sending them and the people already on their way.

WEETAKE is a crowdshipping marketplace. A courier here isn't a company — it's a person with a ticket: they're travelling on their own business and take your parcel along.

What the service does — and what it doesn't

This is not a courier company or a logistics operator. WEETAKE gets you as far as a conversation with a real person — everything after that is between the two of you.

Does
Finding a traveller. Courier and sender listings for your route — with dates, parcel sizes and a price, if the author set one.
Terms agreed in advance. Price, meeting point and contents can all be settled before you hand anything over to anyone.
Ratings and reviews. Left for each other by people who have already made the trip.
Orders from communities. We gather them from open groups on social networks and messengers, so you don't have to scroll through them yourself.
Doesn't
Payment. The service takes no payments and holds no money. How and when you pay is between you and the courier.
Insurance. The service doesn't insure your parcel and doesn't cover its value.
Contents. Nobody checks what's inside. That's on the person sending it and the person carrying it.
Handover. The service takes no part in it: you hand the parcel to a person, face to face.

Where the listings come from

Some travellers post here, others post in open communities on social networks and messengers. We show both — their cards look different, and that's on purpose.

Listings posted on WEETAKE
The courier filled in the route with transit points, departure and arrival dates, parcel sizes and types, currencies and price. They have a profile, a rating and reviews. You can message them straight away.
Orders from social networks and messengers
All you get here is the route, the text of the message and the date it was posted. No rating, no sizes, no currencies — the price is always negotiable. These orders are labelled, so you know what you're dealing with.

What to look at when choosing a courier

The service can't vouch for anyone, so it gives you everything you need to decide for yourself.

Rating and reviews
Ratings and reviews are left after the trip. If there are no ratings yet, it says so — “No ratings”, not five stars by default.
Talk before the handover
Ask where you'll meet, whether the parcel goes in the hold or in hand luggage, and how you'll settle up. It's all sorted out in chat.
Borders and bans
Some things can't be taken across a border — that's on both of you. Check before you hand the parcel over.
What you can and cannot take across the borderImport rules by country are on a separate page, along with the list of banned items.Read
